Root [Sprint/Cricket] Foolishly accepted an update after rooting

A few months back I rooted my Samsung S3 SPH-L710 -Sprint. I've been enjoying my rooted phone since then, but I had a prompt today for some updates, and I accepted them all. One of those updates was for the Android OS (I didn't even look what version). Not taking a moment to think about it, I just let it update and now it seems to be stuck. It rebooted it's self and goes into the "Samsung" splash screen, then hangs in the next screen that just shows the Galaxy SIII text.

Bricked or recoverable?
