Root [Sprint/Cricket] galaxy s4 rom?

alright well this is kinda a open discussion rather than a real question. but to start it off, what are the odds that our beloved s3 gets a s4 based rom.

is the s3 capable of doing s4 features such as the double camera thing and the hover feature etc etc.

I'm just curious because from the reviews of the s4 the only reason I'd buy is for the 13mp camera, the other features don't really drive me to buy the device.

results may vary but for the most part my s3 is pretty damn responsive so my the hardware under this hood is just fine for me (opinion)

well any who, tell me your thoughts and if you wouldn't mind seeing a s4 based rom for the s3.

From what I've read, the S3 is gonna get some of the S4's features but only those that are hardware compatible. A S4 rom isn't out of the questions, devs just modify stock touchwiz and voila!
 
I've been using moar for a few weeks now. It does in fact have a lot of the s4 sw in it as of the last update. I love it. Its my daily ROM when I'm not testing out new ones.

I personally can't wait until the MD4 release for MOAR ;)

so MOAR is a stable build, everything works, camera.. 3g blue tooth.. etc.. is it on 4.1.2 or 4.2. 2

I ran across a rom called hyperdrive. anyone heard of it. tested it?

Every current touchwiz rom is going to be based on 4.1.2

And since they're based on stock, everything works

I too am curious about hyperdrive, I was going to try it but haven't gotten it downloaded yet, it's a pretty larg file.
 
MOAR is on 4.1.2 but has a lot of 4.2 options built in. It also comes with morphology which makes the ui completely customizable. (huge selling point for me) I love that you can theme your status bar/toggles/mms/kb however you want. And it is updated quite frequently keeping flashaholics like me happy. Lol

Alrighty folks, I ran Hyperdrive. It has a lot of nice and convenient features that are easily accessible, but it drained my battery like no other and lets face it, Morphology is just freaking great ;)

nice. preciate the feedback.

I tried M. O. A. R rom. nothing against it. maybe I didn't play with it long enough. but im just addicted to cm10.1 lol

Make a backup of your ROM, and definitely play with MOAR for a few hours. But I do understand if Touchwiz just ain't your cup of tea :smokingsomb:
As much as I do love CM, I'm addicted to my Facebook integration (contacts, people's pictures in sms, etc.) and I only found one ROM and that was for the Evo 3D which ran CM AND had Facebook integration :p
 
need some help, I downloaded the MOAR zip to the root of my SD card, went to flash the new rom and the I cannot see the rom, the phone is already rooted with framaroot running please advise. thanks

idk if this helps but I'd check my download folder. or maybe another sd directory. I kno i have like 3 diffrent ones.

see that's the funny thing. I made a backup of my cm the 1st time. nd after i got tired of playin with it. I tried to restore nd something had corrupted and made it fail.. idk wat i did but it happened.

might give it another swing one day
 
I want a pure AOSP ROM. When everything else available is based off of CM they all kind of have the same issues.

Its almost there, but there are times when it just doesnt work and I have to go back to touchwiz, which has its own issues.

Crossing my fingers on that sprint nexus 4

Probably was something that happened with the recovery; gotta love those earlier versions, eh? :p
