Root [Sprint/Cricket] going back to stock touchwiz rooted question

i promise everyone that i did a search before i asked this question but i have a little issue i would like help with. my sprint s3 was constantly freezing up when i was stock, so i rooted and i installed cm10.1 on it and it is now blazing fast. here is the problem, i would like to go back to stock rooted touchwiz but the nandroid backup i made is useless because it constantly freezes up. im not sure if the stock roms floating the webs are updates/or root friendly. i was thinking of just flashing the rom and then doing a factory reset but was afraid that i would lose root. the reason why i want stock touchwiz specifically is because i want to update to 4.3 when it comes out.

u won't be able to update to 4.3 while rooted through sprint. just download a 4.3 rom onto ur rooted device. it's the same as an ota update and u still have a rooted phone. GalaxyS3Root.com or XDA will, at some point, have a 4.3 rom. unless its already out.

4.3 isn't coming to the s3 for at least a few more months probably.

When it is released, all you'll have to do is download the 4.3 stock ROM and flash it just like you did to get cyanogenmod.
