Root [Sprint/Cricket] Hellybean 4.2.2 hardware overlay???

I cant find in the system settings the developer options so i can disable the hardware overlay...screen keeps flashing ....any help would be appriciated thanks guys/girls. Iv
 
Do you mean you can't find developer options?

If so, go to settings, about phone and tap I think "baseband" or its once of those lol (been a few since I've been on aosp), otherwise tap baseband 8 times, if that's not it, it might be model number?

But tap that 8 times, then it'll say your a developer now and you'll have access to developer options.
