Hi there! New to android, been and iPhone user for years and finally made the switch, so far I love my Galaxy S3, I've rooted it as well as overclocked it, I eliminated S voice and animations on my phone so that it would boot up and respond much more quicker but one thing about my phone still bothers me, whenever I open up my messages it lags. Whenever I click on a new message or my message icon, it takes 10 - 15 seconds for it to open up. Why is that? Is there any way to fix it?
Also whenever I open up my messaging app and search for a contact's name, the text deletes itself, for example, if I were to look up someone with the last name Smith, whenever I type "SMITH" into the search bar, some sort of devious backspace gnome seems to be pushing backspace and deleting everything I type in making it almost impossible for me to look up a contact. It's driving me CRAZY!
