Root [Sprint/Cricket] Mounting external sd card

Lurker
Using Blazer rom and can't get the external sd (scandisk) to mount. When I try I get a "ok to remove sd card" message. Card works fine on stock rooted SG3. Any help?

Blazer 2.1 uses the Ktoonz kernel so if you have a card formated in exFAT it won't read it. You would need to reformat it to FAT32 or flash a stock kernel. What size is your card?

Thanks again MusicJunkie reformatting did the trick!

Glad you're up and running! The 64GB card is formatted differently than the lower capacity ones and our phones won't read it unless we have the stock kernel.

I might invest in one of those. I have a 16 GB card and thought it was big enough but I like to store ROMs on the phone/card and music so all of that takes up space, lol

Best 65 bucks ever. 20 gigs of music. 3 roms, 2 CWM back ups, a couple gigs of pics and videos. 2 Feature flicks with a 2gb link2sd partition and still 20+gb free. When is 128GB card coming? LoL. Yeah. The only way it works is formatted to fat32 which is a bummer. Its like having a Beamer and only getting to drive it in first gear. Def need a read/write cache increase to make up for the slow formatting.
