Root [Sprint/Cricket] New update to 4.3 nag

Is there anyway to stop the update to 4.3 nag, besides doing it? I am rooted

I tried taking the update and it didn't take. It booted into CWM and I chose install "untrusted zip", it hung for a few seconds and then rebooted. I am still on 4.1.2 and still rooted. As far as stopping it yes there's a way. Let me search around for the thread...

When it came up this time I dragged the notification down and long pressed it and app info came up, selected it and Google Services Framework was the app. I then unchecked show notifications and force stopped it also disabled it. Will let you know how that goes.

I skipped the 4.3 and actually ran the CM 11 nightly (4.4.2) and I find the experience to be a lot smoother.

The only thing I never liked about cwm is you cannot do the ## codes (can't remember what they are called)

I need some help. None of these solutions are working for me. I do not have the following files to freeze.

SDM.apk
FWupdate.apk

I do have Keychain.apk and froze it but still get the notification. I have also tried the fotokill.apk and that doesn't work either. Any other suggestions?

I tried a lot of stuff and the only thing that finally worked was by going into the build.prop and changing the device id. I have done this on other devices, but this time I ran a zip that was designed for the MOAR 6.1 ROM. There are also zips designed for other Roms. I would recommend that you do a backup before making any changes either manually or with a zip.

As stated previously, the best solution in the long run is to install a newer ROM so that you can take advantage of the new features of 4.3 or 4.4.2

I would not recommend installing the Samsung Knox OTA. (obviously)
