Root [Sprint/Cricket] overheating

My samsung s3 has been over heating. Battery runs down really fast and charger connection keeps beeping on and off. Sometimes runs down to zero at night instead of charging.

Sounds like a short - either in the battery or in the phone. Swapping batteries will tell you where it is. If it's in the phone, it has to go to the shop for repair.

I've had this problem before.. it was software. Flashing back to stock fixed it.
