Root [Sprint/Cricket] question about Rhqapsody

I'm hoping someone else has tried this and can tell me how to do this.
I'm trying to move the folder Rhapsody uses to download playlists to the external sd card. I went in to ES file explorer and created a folder and a file in it. I copped the complete file path to the clipboard and changed the file in rhapsody but I get a message "can not write to that location please try again". Any ideas on how to get this wo work. the phone is rooted with Oden3.04 stock rom.

You probably have to mount ES with write permissions to root.

I'm having the exact same problem and error message. My phone is an LG Optimus L9, and I downloaded Astro File Manager in case it helped (it didn't). I have no idea what rooting a phone involves.
