Root [Sprint/Cricket] Root Didn't take..

So I followed the root instructions to the letter, and I NOW seem to be having a problem with installing Busy Box and Super User isn't function. Basically it looks as if the phones running fine, no issues, no bricking but when I use Root Checker, it says I'm not properly rooted.

So should I just run through the process again??? Busy box is saying that there was a problem opening a shell with root access.

You can try going through the root process again, but I don't know why your root was "bad". I never installed busy box separately. I don't think I needed it, lol.

I got it, Followed a video on youtube with the latest method and it took just fine, now just trying to figure out the Wireless Tether since mine isn't showing any data transfer...

I like QBKing's videos. :)
THanks
yeah.. i have seen this.. it look very easy..

but it was posted in July 2012.. so i was wondering if it is the most current.
since this is the one you used.. then it must be still current.

Nice to see you over in this neck of the woods, Dan!

QBKing's old root method, which I believe is based off of TeamEpic's method is still fully functional with all software versions on the D2SPR (Sprint's SGS3). Chainfire also has a method up on XDA, which is just as easy.

thanks for the welcome...

might look up the chainfire... see if any method uses Armon Ra Recovery method over Clockwork. i am not confident with Clockwork based on past reading of other people's phantom issues with ROMs.

Well, TWRP is the next best thing to AmonRa since their code originated from Amon's superb work on the OG EVO. You could substitute TWRP for CWM. I use TWRP on multiple devices that I own, and have never experienced any issues with this recovery image. However, once 4EXT releases for US models of the SGS3 - I'll be all over that like white on rice.
