Root [Sprint/Cricket] Root GS3 with a linux box not windows

I don't have a windows box available. but I do have Linux Mint 13 mate. Are there any tools to root my gs3 with Linux?

It refers to something called heimdall which soulds like an alternative to odin for folks who dont have a windows machine... check this thread out and use at your own risk
