Root [Sprint/Cricket] Root recovery questions.

I had my phone rooted yesterday and the guy used TWRP as a backup. but most of the rooms I look at to try to install say use clockwork.

can a ROM that says use clockwork be installed with the TWRP backup.

how hard is it to switch from TWRP to clockwork.

and what is a good functioning Rom for root with TWRP backup.

I am new to all this thanks

All of the ROMs can be flashed in TWRP. It's the only recovery I use and I used to flash all of the ROMs for the S3. They just recommend flashing in CWM, why I have no clue because TWRP is far superior.

To add to what Music said, I believe that there are some roms that require TWRP to flash and will not work with CWM or at least lose some functionality in flashing options. I may be mistaken but I believe I have seen a couple like that.

Oh yea that is true. I think ParanoidAndroid (I'm really not sure, lol) does what you described but for CWM. It contains an auto updater thing but requires that particular recovery. TWRP FTW!

I have twrp. I have a question. How do I delete a saved recovery. Like I save one then realized that I didn't name it. So saved it again under name so I know what it was. So how do I delete the other

Plug your phone into your computer, navigate to the recovery folder, delete the one you don't want
