Root [Sprint/Cricket] Rooted, trying to do the md4 update..

I'm trying to copy the two files i need from the computer over to the phone but when I try to copy one of the files an error pops up saying "the device has either been disconnected or has stopped responding"

one file will copy over, the other won't


any ideas? I've tried several different cords...restarted both phone and laptop...

an easier way to do it is to use odin... would you like the data wipe version or the non data wipe version?

I used odin to root, I do the update the same way?

Prior to transferring the file, try disabling usb debugging from the developer options then trying again. Let me know if that works.

disabling USB debugging doesn't change anything. I don't know why this is being so difficult for me, I rooted the phone no problems at all. I don't imagine this being any different.

Just out of curiosity - have you tried downloading the stock ROM directly to the phone?
