I have too be able to click sometHing to be able to select anything. That's my pRoblem I can't get past select from sd card. It doesn't let me progress

Gotcha.... This is a thread I made for this exact problem... link.... http://forums.androidcentral.com/sh...w recoverys for S3's that wont mount sdcards. if you want to talk pm me and I'll walk you through. Otherwise there's a guide in the first link of my post.

All ya gotta do is download the last two files, Odin and the drivers for our phone. Unzip the Odin folder to your desktop. Install drivers. Go get TWRP from same post. (It seems to work better) once done with drivers copy the recovery file to the Odin folder. Open Odin (the .exe) and click PDA choose the recovery file you just copied to the same folder. Don't touch any options in Odin and click start. After flashing reboot to the new cwm. And flash root.zip from earlier. Done. Profit.

help again. rooted my s3 but then tried flashing a rom and messed it up, used kies air to update to 4.3 succesfully but being dumb and trying to root it and wiping everything off my device and left me with no os whatsoever, kies wont let me install 4.3 again, anyway of getting my phone going again?

So you're successfully updated to 4.3 via Kies, which means you have the Knox boot loader permanently installed to your phone. Just so you know, any method you use now to try to root your phone will trip the boot loader and void your warranty, and no, as of now, there is no way to get around it. With that being said, if you want to root, download SuperSu 1.8.0 update to your phone, flash a recovery tar using Odin (I recommend Philz), reboot into recovery, wipe cache, dalvik, flash supersu zip, reboot, you're rooted, but voided. Under no circumstances should you try and flash another boot loader(ie 4.1.2 rom) through Odin. You will brick, completely. Good luck. And @TheBritton has a great guide for rooting this device.
