Root [Sprint/Cricket] Soft Brick :( Please Help Me

Well here i am another noob to laugh at. as you can tell my the title i messed up. basically i have a sprint galaxy s3. tried to root it, but ended up putting it in a soft brick.

i can go into download mode. but thats about it.

anything else i do to the phone brings up this screen ( check out the picture) but anyway the screen pops up a phone-computer picture and under that it says

(Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again)

Im begging you guys to help me out. Im really at your mercy right now. If someone could please reply with a fix id glady appreciate it

Did you get CWM installed. Try going into Recovery and do a factory reset. Pull the battery for a few seconds and then put it back. Hold the Volume up, Home and Power button till you feel it vibrate. When it vibrates let the buttons go and it should boot into recovery. Here use the volume rocker to move up and down and the power button to select. Move down to Clear Cache and then hit the power button. When that finishes move to Factory Reset and hit the power button. Now reboot and see if it will boot up. If not you will need to connect via the computer and use Kies as instructed in the pop-up on the phone.
 
unfortunately i dont have cwm. ive been trying to use odin all day and have been getting fails after fails. im going to try to use kies and see what happens
 
What fail message are you getting in ODIN?
ODIN and Kies don't like each other. Uninstall Kies, install drivers if needed, and use the OE usb cable.
What guide are you following to root?
 
i got it out of that mode by flashing a kernal..the plan was to immediately boot up into stock recovery and factory reset and be happy again

well now i think ive just turned a phone ive had a week into a lifetime paper weight

heres the deal now

i can turn the phone on but it cuts right back off. i see the samsung screen then it goes right back off.

am i doomed for life guys or is there a fix

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!

im not hard bricked. some way i got a blessing and got it into download mode again...flashed a stock image and now i get it to half way boot but it gets stucks in the middle with a black screen and solid blue led light.

i feel like im running out of chances. before all this occured i had just updated to 4.1.2.

im guessing right now i can root my phone and flash a stock rom again. i would love to have 4.1.1 because it worked for me.

any advice. i wont touch it again until you guys reply
 
good news guys. im all fixed up. preciate yall help. without guys like yall itll be android suicides every where
 
I flashed the qbking77 link you posted for me through odin, it booted ran through clean and booted right up, took about 10 to 15 minutes and my s3 is flashed to boost mobile, everything still working. We should get that a sticky. Its a life/phone saver

S/o to qbking77 and the people who helped him and s/o to you guys who helped me. I appreciate it.

Btw I ran into the brick trying to root my phone via the CF root method , im sure you know what im talking about. It failed for me. I tried it again after I figured out how to fix it. Same soft brick. But if you do happen to get in a jam like that with your s3. If your able to go into download mode. That link should pull you out the hole.
