Root [Sprint/Cricket] Starting over

I am sick of having trouble with roms, and flashing a new one every 2 months, only to find I keep having issues with stuff slowing down. My internal memory is almost full, and I was having trouble with my SD card, which I recently had to pull and completely reformat it on my computer. I'm sick of all the issues, and I just want to go back to stock with root. I have downloaded an odexed stock 4.3 rom and I'm ready to flash it, but I want to clean up all my files on the internal memory. I have backed up the important stuff already. Is there a way I can just basically delete everything from the internal memory of the phone, so that it just leaves the needed folders and necessary stuff like it was brand new?

If you're flashing a new ROM, that would be like washing the car before bringing it to the car wash. The new ROM comes with its own folders and files. Clear cache, clear Dalvik cache, factory reset, then flash the new ROM. Nothing that was there before should remain. If the "stock ROM" is really a stock ROM, you'll be going through exactly what you went through when the phone was new - entering your email address and all that.

But if you keep filling up the ROM, it's going to keep being full. Custom ROMs usually give you more free storage, not less. The problem might just be that you need a phone with more storage.

(Before you do anything else, though, try Low on Space? Dump logcat You don't need the log unless you're debugging a specific problem.)
