Root [Sprint/Cricket] Tethering with PdaNet

I am currently tethering my HTC Evo 4G with Sprint to my PC and I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy SIII.

I want to to know if I will still be able to tether my new SIII to my PC as I do now with my HTC Evo 4G?

I have the PadNet.apk app file that I downloaded of the net to install on the new phone manually.

I do not care for the wifi tether from FoxFi. I just want to know that I can continue to use the PdaNet as i do now.

Can someone please answer if they know?

PC Configuration:
Win 7 Ultimate 64Bit
4GB RAM
Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80GHz

I have no trouble tethering now with my Evo 4G on Sprint with my current PC configuration.

I'm not aware of that app. I suggest just trying it seeing as how you have both the app and phone.

I am not sure how long this thread will last as the people who run this board think tethering is against TOS and delete the threads. However PAM (phone as a modem) is/was available as a feature in the Sprint SERO plan (and probably others. I got mine added for free.

Anyway, both PDANet and EasyTether work. I fins EasyTether is more relaible.
