Root [Sprint/Cricket] Unroot questions

So about a year ago I watched some videos on rooting your phone, flashed a jelly bomb rom and have been using for a year or so. Well I've been running into weird issues and decided to just go back to stock. For that reason and also I'm still confused on all the root talk and feel like I've gone in over my head.

First off, how do I unroot?

My main concern is backing up all my stuff, as in apps, game data, contacts, etc. I have downloaded Titanium Backup, but a little unclear with how the app works. I backup what I want to keep, flash to stock, re download Titanium and restore the data? How does it remember me? I never set up an account so I'm a little confused on that and how it works.

Sorry to sound stupid with all of this, just looking for advice on how to proceed.

u can back up your stuff in titanium which will save it to ur dropbox account (if u have dropbox). u can save ur stuff on ur computer. contacts will be saved on ur google account. then use qbking77's website to properly unroot. but u don't really need to unroot to go back to stock. there are rooted stock roms out there that u can flash. try MOAR rom. fast and customizable and i haven't had problems that i couldn't figure out. rooting, for me, is to get rid of the crap the phone companies dump on our phones that are useless, or that most people will never use.
