Root [Sprint/Cricket] Would like to know CURRENT Roms for sprint s3.....

Currently running Jellybomb...but my adaobe player crased on me i dont have swype i love the rom but was wanting to try something else... i see the cyanagen based Roms but dont know whats the difference between touch wiz and cyanogen based roms....thanks for you guys/ladies time and thanks for allowing me the opportunity to be apart of such a great community..thanks all Ivan OH ps if there are any suggestions could you PLEASE provide links im horrible at deciphering these things...lol thx
 
Cyanogen based ROMs are more for the user who doesn't mind installing the stuff that aosp time leave out. Aosp is what cyanogen is. Android open source project(stripped out) I'd factory reset and use the lg8 based rom in the sticky :) its damn near perfect!!

Hey doofus thanks for your reply man(im assuming???!!! lol) How does Blazer compare to Jellybomb and what does it look like? also is it touchwiz or Cm10 based....link????...lol i know youre like maaan!!!!! sorry Ivan also what is "the sticky"....lol
 
Hey Doofus I checked out the blazer rom and you were right..it seems flawless,but im more of a themed over clocking....suprise me type guy..so i was trying to see what my options were in that aspect i want to try cm10 but not sure if it will deliver that type of thrill...had cm7 on my atrix but cant remember much about it...

If I understand what I've been reading, your kernel is what allows you to overclock or undervolt or vice versa. I too am curoius about overclocking and undervolting, but I cant get a kernel to work with blazer.

I've provided a forum guide with links to different Kernels and a rom list in the stickies provided here for our phone. My ROM list is one sticky on it's own and the kernels are listed in the "All Things Root" sticky.

Stickies are located at the top of the thread lists.
 
Sorry y'all... I was working then trying to finish uncharted 3 again (for like the 6th time lol) blazer is a touchwiz based lg8(version of the stock release) that's been tweaked for performance and battery life. I get about 40 hours out of mine with constant texting and looking shit up and so forth. The kernels you want to look for are touchwiz based as other ones will cause a bootloop (which is totally fixable, but still annoying lol)
 
The kernel is the go between software that allows the os to talk to the hardware. So, it is the software that allows your os to run the processors beyond "normal"capacity :)
