I decided to cut short my subscription on my 7" Sprint Galaxy Tab. The termination fee was not much more than a month's service, plus tax--and I seem to be doing well enough with it over WiFi.
Two questions, though:
1) I would like to completely disable the cellular radio, to conserve battery life. Besides putting the unit in airplane mode, as I have it now, is there another way to accomplish this?
2) Assuming I have no cellular signal to work from, is there a way for the device's time/date to update over a WiFi connection, as opposed to receiving time over the cell network?
Thanks.
