Root [Sprint] Help just rooted

Those changes require phone modding on the system level or an app to cheat and do it for you. Go to XDA and look for Xposed and Xposed Modules for icon colors and modding.

Xposed doesn't require any tutorials. You install the app, download the module and turn the ones you want on. Doing the mods manually, that's a whole other headache and yes, there are tutorials for them on XDA with the instructions.
 
Or you can install sacs rom which will give you better battery life. It has the 3minit in it which allows you to change all of that plus more. The xposed has issues with changing the battery icon. 3minit works great. You will need to either buy the 3minit app for $2 bucks or you can get the previous version for free on xda. Start here. XDA
