Help Sprint Hotspot

Is the Sprint Hotspot free to use or is there a charge? I tried to use it and it seems to work but it doesnt say anything about a charge.

Yea itll cost you a good 20 30 dollars extra each month if i was u id root and download wifi tether its free

I don't see how they could charge you for it if the app didn't warn you first.

Yea its pretty messed up but i called and itd be jut like bying an extra broadband card

They do warn you. It's just worded in a way that you would breeze right over it. I think the first time I opened it just to see it mentioned something about a charge. And I remember thinking, of course you would.

Has anybody tried the hotspot remover on the officail 2.2 update? I know it works on the custom rom but was curious if anyone has attempted it on a stock 2.2 with root.

Then I guess I'm going to have to patiently wait for the devs to make a slimmed down version without all the crapware. And I mean besides the Unoffical update.zip made for froyoRC2. I don't trust that yet.
