Sprint iPhone 4s on ST??

I have a Sprint iPhone 4s laying around, and I'm needing to activate service with Straight Talk. The only catch is that I need to run on the Verizon towers. I was told a Sprint phone will run on Sprints network. But I thought ST only used Verizon and AT&T??

If I can't use this phone on Verizon's network, I need to know so I can move onto something else.

I'd rather have an android device but this iPhone is free lol

It was built as a world phone - all 2G GSM frequencies - and the CDMA radio covered both Verizon and Sprint 3G bands.

It may not work, but I'd be surprised if it doesn't.

Hmmm. Sorta helps. It says my phone is already a straight talk phone. However, in the phone settings, it says Sprint 15.5 as the carrier.

I guess I just want to know how to insure that this phone will activate on the Verizon network.

I think that that you have to get the CDMA converter thing from Straight Talk for that to happen.
