Sprint needs some better phones

That is all subjective, means nothing ;)

+1 I'd rather see the current line-up of SPRINT'S top tier of phones to get updates, specifically to ANDROID 4.0.X & the PHOTON a software update to be 100% compatible w/the LAPDOCK 500.

Is there an ETA on the Photon getting ICS?

Not yet. They haven't even officially stated it will get ICS, although they have not excluded it, either. We're in a wait-and-see pattern right now.

I'm happy to wait for now. ICS looks cool, but Gingerbread runs great on the Photon. Besides, if Sprint gets LTE in my area sometime come fall, I may bite the bullet and upgrade.

Yah, same here, I'll have an upgrade by summer, and obviously I'd want whatever new LTE compatible device they have available.

Technically the Epic Touch is on there considering the Skyrocket is the same device, except the Epic Touch has the better processor.

Sprint has some of the best "smartphones" available. And lots more to come in the near future.
