Sprint network failing across the US

I have really enjoyed my photon experience over the past week. But the last 2 days have been horrible. Places I was getting great connections from are barely connecting at all now.

I took a look on the sprint forum and these problems are happening all over the US the past few days. Hopefully we will receive some good news soon.

Mods.this topic maybe better suited elsewhere as this issue involves all sprint phones.
I was just selfishly thinking about my own phone problems when I wrote the topic, but my nephews evo he bought from sprint is failing as well.

NY, long Island. Rained "all day" yesterday cloudy today. No 4g in this area yet so $120 down the toilet. 3g was non existant this morning, now it's like crap weak.

It's not a device or a carrier issue, as it was a consequence of a predicted bunch of flare ups on the surface of a massive star at the center of our solar system called the Sun. ;)

Hmm no Sprint issues here. All my calls / texts / data working fine.

I frequent Sprintusers.com and looked at our local Sprint forum here, and I can find no mention of this. What sprint forums are you talking about?

In fact, Google doesn't seem to show any such thing either: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=sprint+network+down+today

Well - the obvious solution is to get rid of Sun Flares :)

FYI - Solar flare activity has knocked out or degraded all forms of wireless communications for much of the last week.

It has been predicted for a few weeks. It was all over the news last week.

Google it, kids. :-)

In my service area there have been issues with 3g for the past week. I was getting a lot of data error 67's. I called Sprint a few days later and they said a trouble ticket was opened because there were issues with provisioning on 3g. The ticket has closed since that time.

Our Airave has been preventing us from sending out text messages. Sprint's Airave department said they are looking into it but don't know what is causing it.
