Sprint Network has gotten crappy since Iphone 4S

Has anyone else been experiencing a lot of the following: (1) no data roaming; (2) disconnecting from 3G; (3) inability to call because "network busy;" and (4) lots of texts not going through - i.e. having to resend text.

I NEVER use to have any of these issues, now I have them on a daily basis. Is this just a product of a ton of new sprint users because of the iPhone?

One more reason to hate Apple I guess.

i dont think it is the iphone on sprint...
it is 2 things...

1. more and more smartphones are getting activated on sprint (android and iphone).

2. the new VISION upgrade to towers... this is an on going upgrade for past 6 months and forward. So there will be some loss in towers when they go down, but once back up, you should see a little better performance.

in the last month, i have see better performance.. but i admit it is still not back to the 1-yr-ago performance. I hope in 6 months, it will be better than 1-yr-ago.

I'm with ovrrdrive. I haven't noticed things getting any worse than they already were. In fact, I have never experienced any of the things you have besides the random drops in 3G. However, it always comes right back up within 20-30 seconds or so.

I've been getting dropped from 4G like never before over the last month... I use 4G or wifi whenever I can, so I don't pay the 3G all that much attention.

Los Angeles, CA. Evo 4G.

I've never had problems like this before. :(

Also, it's just been happening over the past month, I didn't notice any differences 2-3 months ago.

Is it possible there are network failures in your local market? Have you contacted Sprint?

I have a post about my 3g being horrible also. Been 3 days now you think a network problem would be handled in 3 days. For 10 dollars a month per phone I should be able to Google something faster than it takes me to go to my local library and do it on there 56k sun dial 8th wonder of the world machines.....

I posted about this a couple of weeks ago but the 3G in our area went from excellent to horrible. I contacted Sprint and they told me we were having tower issues. They called me twice to update me on the situation and let me know when it was resolved. The service is even better now, and I received a 25.00 credit to my account. You should contact them and see if there are similar issues in your area, especially if your service is usually very good and has suddenly declined.

I'm in sprints home town and my service has been crap since iPhone. I'm like down to 1x signal at prime time. But I'm done with sprint in a week and going to AT&T and LTE.

Nope, I haven't experienced any noticeable service decline in & around the metro DC area. Decent too excellent coverage, basically everywhere I travel. Decent 4G @ home, strong 3G & wifi @ the job site.

I haven't contacted them about it, it's not become such a big problem that I want to sit on the phone with a sprint rep about it. I spent the weekend out in Desert Springs/Palm Springs area and the reception was atrocious: dropped calls and no 3G all over the place. I've never been there before so I don't know if it's ordinarily like that, but if you live in that area do NOT get Sprint, my GF's AT&T phone got reception everywhere.
