Sprint Nextel Direct Connect!

I put this in the lounge on purpose, because Direct Connect isn't limited to just Sprint or even the United States. Other countries have Direct Connect services that are interoperable with Sprint's Direct Connect.

That being said, I'm wondering if anyone here has Direct Connect service? I carry a Nextel for work and I was eyeing possible options for the upcoming Sprint Direct Connect Androids, possibly the Motorola Admiral.. it would keep me from carrying two phones every where.

Does anyone here have a Direct Connect device or am I alone?

There is an app that mimics direct connect.... ttkl or something???

Regardless of that; it was a cool feature, not sure i personally would ever get any use out of it...

You know what's sparked my interest is Sprint said at their strategy event they were going release a downloadable Android app that would use the Qualcomm CDMA Qchat technology. This would mean I wouldn't have to carry two phones any more!
