are you s off?
s-off= yes you can downgrade/change/modify any of the phones partitions,including hboot. the phone does not do any security checks.
s-on= no,you can not downgrade/change/modify hboot,or anything other than the partitions allowed while htcdev unlocked(boot,system,recovery)
