Sprint Question: One Up Program (Note 3 to Note 4)

I'm guessing a few people are in the same boat as me. I bought a Note 4 last October on Sprint's short lived "One Up" program. Over the last few months, as I'm coming up on a year and want the Note 4, I've read on Sprint forums that the One Up customers will be grandfathered in and can still participate in the One Up deal as originally intended. I've read it from Sprint customer service mods and not just heresay posters.

Assuming this is true, will One Up customers be able to participate in Samsung's $200 off program through pre-order? With the One Up program, you essentially pay for half the phone on a monthly basis and, rather than fully own the phone after 2 years, you own half, and turn it in at the one year+ mark. (So for a $700 phone, you pay roughly $30/month). Similar to a car lease, but more like a trade in. Therefore, with the $200 pre-order, will the base price be reduced to approx. $500, resulting in your monthly payments closer to $20/month?

You know, I was curious how Sprint would handle the very short lived One-up program adopters. Unfortunately, I can't give much input as to how it will work because I didn't get on the program, when it was announced. I'm guessing that you're correct, from what I remember of the details when One-up was available.

I was on that program and was able to upgrade without any issues. I had to take the Note 3 back to the store -which I knew. It has to be in good condition, no cracks in the screen etc. I don't know how strict they are about the appearance of the phone being turned in. Mine was in pristine condition.

Update: I was, indeed, grandfathered in to the "One Up" and they simply swapped out my old Note 3 for a new Note 4. My Note 3 didn't have any cracks, but the screen was a bit scratched and it had some dings on the sides and corners from a few drops. They didn't even really look too closely at it. Just put in straight into the return box to send back to Sprint.
