Root Sprint released ICS for Evo 3d. What does this mean for us?

I was reading up on how sprint released ICS for the evo 3d and was just wondering what this means for us in theory and in practice. any comments appreciated. when i say in practice i mean what we could do with it now or in the future. :):D:confused:

Pretty much nothing, it has already been picked over by vultures (the devs)
The ENG Hboot is still the best.
The last Sprint radio is still the best.
The last Sprint PRI is still the best.
The actual rom is pretty much the same as ours.

We already have all of that, or are testing it, so basically, nothing has changed and there is nothing to be gained by it.

do you think the radio issues will be solved soon. i really want to get this phone but am holding out as i read so many poor reviews. ill probably give in in 1-2 weeks though as i sold my last phone to get this one. i live in newark nj so i dont know if signal is good enough so phone wont act up. anyway im thinking of getting best buy 2 year warranty which should allow me to exchange phone for equal or lesser value., i think.

VM was able to fix my Radio issues with SMS....... and i have the Bestbuy 2 year plan trust me its not worth it since they changed it before you could keep exchanging the phone during that 2 year time period now that same plan which is $80 will only allow 1 exchange and then the contract is done you'd have to pay another $80 for another 2 years basically $80 every exchange even if its within the 1 Year warranty period from HTC trust me i regret getting the plan but whats done is done..... The best option would be not to buy the 2 Year plan and if anything goes wrong use the 1 Year Warranty from HTC to get a replacement through VM its Free and each phone Replacement has its own 1 year warranty I know for my next phone im not getting the Best Buy plan since it feels like a robbery they wanted to consider the Contract finished when i was having SMS problems and wanted a replacement a month and a half and $80 F**** That I was lucky VM was able to fix it never again will i get that plan.....
