sprint s5 update question

I have a sprint version of the S5. I just rooted the other day and I'm getting close to installing a custom recovery. (philz touch). I just received a security update from samsung today. I just want to ask, I am not supposed to take any ota updates now that I am rooted, right? If anyone can chime in on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
This samsung update is going through google play services. Everytime I update my apps, this is always there. I like to update all, saves time versus having to update each one manually but I now have to do each one manually because of this update.

The kind of updates you can't/shouldn't take when rooted are the system updates. Those do not come through Play Store.
