This would make the most sense, but in reality I somehow doubt it will go that way since Deutches Telekom gets an 8% stake in AT&T with this deal as well. Maybe it will become AT&T-Mobile.![]()

I just don't see how this merger benefits anyone but AT&T and its shareholders...

There is a chance that Sprint might join forces with a regional wireless player. Leap Wireless, which owns the Cricket brand, is expanding its network in an attempt to become a national carrier. Leap also uses CDMA and could be a good merger candidate for Sprint. What's more, Leap is also building an LTE network, which could give Sprint its LTE future.

I'm wondering if T Mobile customers will be given an option to get out of their contract once this deal is finalized.
In other (more pertinent) news....Verizon says they aren't interested in Sprint but who is? Or rather who might Sprint be interested in? The answer...according to this article Cricket might be an option. UGH!!
love how sprint is crying about this so much lol its like their saying:
sprint: Mommy why did AT&T get to buy tmobile.
Mom= well sprint your allowance isnt big enough .
Sprint= NO FAIR I AM TELLING DAD!
Mom= its your own fault learn how to spend your money.
sprint= NO DAD WILL FIX IT FOR ME!! WILL GET MY WAY SOME HOW EVEN I I DONT DESERVE IT.
AT&T repeated its case that the T-Mobile buy will help ease a drain on wireless spectrum, allow AT&T to expand 4G mobile broadband to an additional 55 Americans, create tens of thousands of jobs and result in billions of dollars of additional investment.
