Help Sprint TV & Voicemail Update

Zines

Lurker
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the Sprint TV app from, else if someone could provide me with a link or the file. I have a rooted Moment phone running 2.2.2.

The other thing I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the voicemail update notification, else if someone could provide the updated app or the link for it as well. I keep clicking on the update option, but it doesn

I just dropped the voicemail.apk in my root folder. Is this right. Do I try and update the voicemail when I get the message again or just reboot the phone now that it's in the root folder? Thanks.

You need to put the file on your flash drive on your phone. The easiest way to do it is to download it to the computer and then send it to your email account. Then open your email up on your phone and download the attachment through your phone. After the file downloads you will need to go to the App Market Store on your phone and download an application called Easy Installer. It is a free application. There are a lot of other ones that can be used too. This one worked well for me, the picture looks like a blue cube. After that has been installed, run the new application. It will go through and find all of the .apk files that have been downloaded to your flash drive. Scroll through the list, put a check mark on the application you want, and then click on install. It will then install without any issues.

I ended up installing the OS 2.1 back on my phone because I was so sick of the GPS not working. Well, now that I installed it back to factory settings, the GPS still doesn't work 95% of the time. I

You can also install the apk through whatever file browser you happen to be using (but maybe not the stock file browser(?)). I've been using ES File Explorer for a while now. Astro is also very good. Just make sure to go to MENU-Settings-Applications and check Unknown Sources.

Here's the SprintTV app:

It will run on 2.2 by the way. I've done it.

I've had a couple bad custom ROM's but my Keylime has been running great for over a year. I'm just trying to get rid of this annoying voicemail update notification.

I found a .zip file for the application to flash in recovery but its not working at the moment because I don't think I've removed the right .apk file that it replaces. Using root explorer I couldn't find any of the files it said to remove.

You "shouldn't" have to remove anything, if you're flashing a file with the same name. It's always possible that there is some corrupted data from the old app that the new one is picking up, but not likely.

The .zip file may be bad. With the .apk file, you can use a file browser like I said before, or try copy/pasting the .apk to /system/app with the file browser in Recovery. That may work better.

I had no idea it was in the market. And only 15k in size! The version I pulled from DJ07 is 775k. Not too popular, is it? I actually only install it for World Cup soccer.

Why Sprint TV won't work on my Moment. JROM EF09 2.2.2 with Baseband S:M900.8.OS.DJ07 Kernal2.632.9 Build CrapKernel 2.2? tysvm
