Root Sprint/Virgin Forced me to switch

Ksou

Newbie
Looks like the phone is gone completely , I checked 3 radioshacks today .

Since the next 4G is 300$ on virgin I might as well get a Nexus 4 .
I keep hearing that Sprint has the slowest speeds of the big 3 anyway .

Ohh well, thanks for all your help guys ! I was really hyped !

Too bad, you may be able to find a good deal on craigslist or eBay though. Also by year's end Sprint will be rolling out 4G LTE nationwide - and Virgin will have the same coverage.

But isn't the 4G radio in the Evo 3D WiMax?
So it wouldn't work?

Correct, what raminest meant is if he stay on virgin mobile you would get 4G LTE when sprint does though if you have a 4G wimax device, which is us, we only notice the coverage and 3G upgrades; not the 4G LTE. If you wait for the next upcoming virgin mobile devices, they will probably have LTE radios equipped.

The last thing I would ever do right now is jump into a contract (regardless of the phone). Whatever you do, try to stay a free-agent, and look for a prepaid plan where you can buy your top ups off crazygametime. You can save an extra 15% doing it that way.

Find a nexus 4 on craigslist and activate on T-Mobile prepaid unlimited 4g for $30. When I get enough money I'm hoping to do that.

It's for the best. With Sprint rolling out their LTE, this phone will be obsolete in the near future. If you really want one, I got mine off of Amazon for $200. Not a bad deal, surely you can find better by now.

I was gonna get me a N4 this month but the only thing holding me with the evo v 4G is that i paid full price not a year ago, i don't want to pay another $300+ yet, so im gonna stay with the evo a bit more, lets see what VM has to offer in the summer or the holidays.

I have 6gigs of free space on my 32 gig card. The N4 is a physical impossibility for me :(
