Verizon is getting rid of a bunch of things and charging more for other things. It is all carriers. They all do things like this that nobody really likes. If you switch because a carrier changes something smaller you don't like then you will always be switching.
Actually Verizon hasn't gotten anything other than the new every two which I completely dodge with a 1yr contract and unlimited LTE is staying at 29.99 for the foreseeable future. I see little to no reason to stay wth Sprint at this point. I'd be paying about 20 dollars more a month for a much better network and unlimited 4G LTE while still getting a full rebate on phones every year.

If it is ever more expensive for me to stay with Sprint then I'll be gone, too. At the present time I have no reason to leave. I have excellent service, phones I like, and the price is right. Can't beat that!
