Root [Sprint] Worth it to root my phone?

Just picked up a new Sprint S4 after having my S3 for about 2 years. I was browsing around here and didn't see a specific thread devoted to ROMs. Is development for this phone not as active as the S3? I liked flashing new ROMs on my old phone. Are there good ROMs for this phone? Thanks

First - root and ROM are two entirely different things. (Either one voids the warranty, though.) For rooting, you can use Kingo

For ROMS? See Samsung Galaxy S4 - Android Forums (then look for your carrier).

If you're going to flash a ROM, don't waste time rooting the stock ROM - the ROM you flash is going to be rooted already.

I knew the difference. My main question was whether or not there is a lot of development for this particular model.
