Not only ugly but whats suppose to be the big advantage?
If your gonna make something ugly you could at least add something that makes it worth buying.

I predict sprints stocks dropping lol.
 
Not worth the hype. But I'm curious to see how Kyocera's support will be, compared to Samsung. If they actually stay on top of the latest software developments, rather than just saying they will (Samsung, are you listening???), then they might have a hit on their hands.

Yes, I would have expected 4G on such a new phone. But with only a 1370mAh battery, I think the battery has enough to keep up with. If the design is well-received, maybe a 4G version won't be far behind. They'll justify the lack of 4G by citing the small number of subscribers that have 4G access at this time, compared to 3G availability.

But was this announcement worth the constant teasing for the last few weeks? I really don't think so.
 
They kept it 3g to keep cost down. And how long do you give the hinge b4 it breaks.
That's one POS phone. Id rather buy a Nintendo 3DS.
 
Sprint better have something big at the MWC or CTIA or I'm gone. I cancel my two lines. Sell my Evo and use the money I get for it to pay my remaining ETF's.

Sprint screwed the pooch big time on this one with their "Cheap"ocera phone. Seriously you built up hype for this? I would of rather had the 3D phone announced over this junk. This is just a joke.

Verizon gets the iPhone and Thunderbolt, AT&T gets the Atrix and we get this shit!!!! Wow!!!!!

With the Premier Status changes and 10 dollar fee I feel cheated. You ruined the only thing you had going for you Sprint and now you release this junk on top of it.

Verizon is looking better and better every day. The 10-20 bucks I save a month aren't worth it to with the shitty selection of phones right now. I'm happy with my Evo but I wanted a chance at another phone before my Premier Status changes. Not gonna happen now. Then I could decide which one I liked more.

Don't ask the Government to bail you out Sprint would you go under. Let Verizon buy you out.
 
I'm curious to know what David Blaine & "magic" have to do with this? They took an ugly phone & doubled it up to make it twice as ugly. Is that how they made the impossible possible? Just when you thought it couldn't get any uglier, they did it!
 
Could someone please tell sprint that releasing a battery sucking piece of crap phone is not an industry first, not even a sprint first. Just an epic fail.

Using navigation will be just fun with that? Think about it, you will always been in between the plastic bezel. Industry first!!!! We create a device that will obfuscate your view on anything you want to open, we own the patients to that!!!

Just dumb. I am soo torn on what to relate this two, so I will post both of them.

people on this forum do not represent the majority of sprints customers.. i can see virtually every preteen and soccer mom picking this up!

people love gimmicks! this phone is a gimmick..and this phone is an industry first! yes its a Nintendo DS.. and how well do they sell???

Maybe if they had released it to Virgin or made a rugged version, but as it is...FAIL.

Interestingly, the Echo doesn't really run the optimized apps simultaneously when you have two of them open -- it quickly switches them in and out of hibernation, even though they're both displayed on screen. That means you can't do things like watch a video while writing an email, for example -- it's an odd limitation, but it seems like it'll only be an issue in limited circumstances.

I don't think you give the American people enough credit for how smart they are. A small amount of people will be dumb enough to buy this POS.

Then again this country did elect Obama to office. There is no hope.

lol Only if Nintendo lets them run an official DS emulator.
