Sprint's Tab 3 deal-worth it?

I have to admit, a decent tablet for 50 bucks+15 a month for 2 gigs of data is VERY tempting, even though I have to realize I'll need to drop another 50 or so for case, screen, probably a 32 gig microsd for extra storage, etc.

Last i check you could get the $5 data plan if you are a current customer. I still decided against getting one, but you may want to look into that.

Well, the thing is, if I get the 5 dollar plan, I might as well just consider that paying for the tab monthly, cause thats no data at all. 2 gigs a month for 15 bucks is more appealing.

Oh, I know. The other option is take the 5 dollar a month plan, and just view it as a 2 year paying off the rest of the tablet, and use wifi only. Since 12 X 5 =60, and X 2 that=120. Hell, the 50 up front and 120 over 2 years is bloody cheaper than buying a wifi only galaxy tab 3.

Well I guess I was thinking along the lines of 2 gigs isn't much either. My phone is rooted so if I were to get this deal I could just tether.

I went in to Sprint about 3 weeks ago to buy the Tri-Fi Hotspot and got convinced to getting the Tab.

In the 2 weeks having it, I noticed that I rarely used it since my Note 2 and hybrid laptop/tablet were taking up more of my time. So I returned it the other day.

Its a very good tablet, the size good enough but it didn't fill into my need. Now if it were the Note 8.0 then I can see myself keeping that.

I just did that deal. 50 bucks is a pretty good. I dont mind a 2 year contract. I've been with sprint for 13 years, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon..
