Hello all,

I was doin some android app and have done almost everything but faced a lot prob at end when selecting date in DESC order. it is selecting date in descending order but like this
22 NOV 2010
22 NOV 2009
22 OCT 2010
22 OCT 2009
21 NOV 2010
21 OCT 2010

instead of
22 NOV 2010
21 NOV 2010
22 OCT 2010
21 OCT 2010
22 NOV 2009
22 OCT 2009

plz help me to figure out this prob.

Welcome to the Android Forums!

If I try to remember back to my undergrad days I'd say that you're doing an alpha sort on the data fields. Try converting and storing the dates as Julian dates and then sorting on the Julian value. You can then convert the date back to Alpha before displaying it.
