Accessories Squeaky battery cover with Seidio 1750 battery.

I have the issue with the oem battery and my cover was only taken off one time for the orignal batter install.

maybe some wd-40 will do the trick ;)
 
As said, it has nothing to do with the 1750....it happens with the OEM battery as well. I put a thin piece of cardboard between my battery and door to make the door flex less. Helped, but didnt eliminate the noise completely.

I only have a little squeak above the volume toggle when I apply pressure.

It's weird because there is NO gap and it looks perfectly tight. I might put a little piece of putty in or something to that effect if it starts triggering OCD syndrome.

I might be getting a case though in which it wouldn't matter at all.
 
Mine as always "squeaked", too. I find it quite comforting, sort of a stress release thing.

My BB always creaked and I was a bit worried the Inc wouldn't.
 
Try the Scotch tape fix in the link Jamor posted above. I just did it and the creaks/squeaks are completely gone. :cool:
