Squirrels!

I was thinking of Rocky and Bullwinkle naturally. They are small enough to fit on my phone. 
Hopefully the end of this story ...
I just went up in the attic space and saw no indications of anything being chewed or any of the insulation disturbed. We have heard the odd scratching on the roof, but I think that's just someone using the roof as an asphalt highway. No permanent residents.

My sister gave me a Rocky and Bulwinkle old comic book style, messenger board, on where you just slip off paper so you can re use them, she gave me that for christmas
on topic: my mother in law adores squirrels.
Does She live in an Industrial region? Squirrels are rare around there.
