After a drop the wireless charging would not. It would work if I put pressure on the back when the phone was on the charger. So if pulled the back off and put a layer of tape under the flex circuit on the back that connects the charging coil to the front of the phone.

That got the wireless charging working again but now I notice that if I press in the center of the back cover it flexes. I want to know if this is normal and I just didn't notice or is this something wrong?

Also do you think if I got a new back would that fix the wireless charging?

Any brand of phone is going to be damaged when dropped. It's pure guesswork trying to decide what was affected. I'd call Google, be honest when telling your story and see if they'll help you.

I found last night that a couple of the clips must not have been snapped at the top. Now the back it tight again.
