Help ssh app

Hi guys,
Has someone experiences with a terninal emulation to make a ssh connection?
Connectbot has a strange keyboard setting.
Do I need to root it?

Which hardware are you using?

I'm using a asus transformer 101T with Dock, The thing is, that I'm doing a lot of customizing Linux Systems and I would like to use the pad for that. But I always come in trouble with ctrl-C and so on. I experience with an Web console, but always got the message that my browser does not have jave?????????

Do you have any clues?
