I swear you can pull that at least once against every team - someone is always napping ;)

As a goalie I always pay special attention on faceoffs down low, just so I don't look like a complete dumbass :) Almost as humiliating as letting your own teammate score on you (Nabokov :rolleyes:)

It was intense, some great highlights and honestly kept me on the edge of my seat. But there was so many bullshit calls, I mean, does anyone really think that sedin kicked the puck in? Time to put on my conspiracy theorist cap but I think that the leauge is trying to put more american fans into the game, I mean during game 6 you can just watch all the kings fans just leave the building once Vancouver was up.. Also rumor has it you could get 4 tickets for like 25$ at Staples Center, While Vancouver tickets run $300 - $700!
 
I won't buy into any conspiracy theories, but one thing I noticed in that series - while Vancouver sure got HOSED on some calls, they are a dirty ass team that got away with a lot too. They deserved to win and outplayed the Kings for much of the series, but wow....lost a ton of respect for the 'nucks in that one.

I actually saved the last game of the season for the Thrashers this year just so I could watch Evander Kane knocking Matt Cooke out over and over again. :D

I just hate the pompous fans that jumped on the bandwagon after Cindy was handed to them. They were on the verge of moving to Kansas City, no one was coming to the Igloo, and they were a perennial basement dweller, and then they had some of the best players in the game handed to them, and suddenly Pittsburgh is the "model franchise" according to Bettman.

BTW, is there a NHL or hockey social group on the forum?

I would love to argue with you guys when the regular season or the draft comes along. ;) I live in Atlanta and despite having a team as well as one of the best players in the league for quite a while, I have almost nobody to talk hockey with.:(

Weird! I created the social group, but when I try to create a discussion, it gives me an error. The discussion shows in the list, but when you try to open it, it errors.

Odd.
 
It's an Apple conspiracy. They are punishing us for making fun of the iPad, so the fallout is Phases has to fight them off daily. Every now and then they sneak in and break something in our forum software.

I joined, but a new leak just popped up for the Eris and I haven't been able to step away from that forum yet. lol
 
Not to rain on anyones parade, but from my name and picture im sure all of you see who im a fan of. Born and raised in Pittsburgh I'm a pens fan, and i understand all of you wings fans for being sore from last year. I would like to see them in the finals with the blackhawks but a rematch with the wings would be insane, for history's sake. Of course Crosby is gonna get hated on, because he is good, same with ovechkin, you know it, he complains just as much as the other players he makes up for it with his 50 goal season anyway. and cooke, well he's cooke haha. we'll see how it goes :)
 
If tonights game is anything like Saturdays, I really don't think Chicago will make it into the next round. As for the penguins, I think Crosby is a great player but I hope Montreal will give them a tough time (Who knows, they may even have a huge upset and take them).
