Help Start up sequence

When I turn on my phone, after the start-up sequence, the purple and pink lights continue to flash...as if it's lagging. I don't know whether this is normal or not!!
Please, please PLEASE help!! I just got my phone 3 days ago >< just wanted to make sure everything is alright
