Help Status bar

Status bar got frozen from time to time. Need to restart to get it back to normal. Anyone?

I meant; it cannot be opened, I cannot slide it down.....

No, nothing, it just happens by itself from time to time. I am noticing it when i want to open that bar....

And another No, i am on stock rom, and never rooted (just as yet )

How long has it been happening? Since you downloaded a certain app?

Only thing I can suggest is to try a Factory Rest and see if it keeps happening, sorry

Unless anyone else has had this problem, it's the first I've heard of this one.

Hmm, i thought about that too, i am going to do hard reset, and NOT to download any apps. We will see what is going to happen, after d/l one by one app. I am pretty much sure that THIS has to do something with one of my apps.
And i don't really remember when it started....few weeks ago?? Also, there was one software update since i have this baby, but i can be mistaken, as i have few other phones "under my commands", hahaha. But thank you for your time......your advices are well taken.

Use Titanium Backup to backup your apps and data, then you won't have to re-download them, you can still install them one by one and it'll remember all your settings in each app.

Ti backup needs root though.

Oh, thought you could use it on unrooted phones too, never been unrooted for long

Think most of the apps that back up data need root. Contacts and a list of apps should still be saved by google, so all you lose is actual app data and any personalization.

You might try Android's Save Mode.

In this mode the phone starts only with systems apps and then you might see if the notification bar works properly again.
