Status icon identification

Ok, did some searching, and still haven't found out what this thing is. The little house icon with two green bars coming off the top.

I've checked the manual online, nothing. I'm Rooted on CleanROM, so I don't see a Help app in the phone anymore (Who uses that, anyway? lol). Everything I've looked online didn't help, half of the time I get "Oh that's Spotify" which I don't even have installed. So I'm at a loss. I'm sure it's nothing major, but I hate not knowing. Any ideas?

Yeah, was my first thought too. I really have no idea. I just double-checked all the apps installed, and all the settings I can think of, Location, etc. Nothing jumps out at me.

I believe that's the icon for a wifi extender

Interesting. Looks like it would signify something with a home sharing/wireless or some sort with the logo. I would ask LG and let them tell us. I've already contacted them twice. They were pretty quick to respond within 1 business day. Let us when you find out.

Rec'd an e-mail back from LG (and darn quick I might add), with the suggestion that it may be a Hotspot or WiFi Direct icon. I posted over on Scottsroms.com to see if anyone had thoughts on it. It's nothing I have found a toggle for yet, or setting for. I see the WiFi Direct portion, but there isn't any real on/off, and I would assume it would turn off if WiFi was disabled, but the icon stays. The hotspot icon shows in the left as a notification, and that is completely different when I enable it. So...we'll see what the word is eventually lol.

not sure how I missed this in the mix, but I thought of this earlier today. I have a Network Extender in my house, to use signal from. I was wondering about it, so I went outside to the end of my driveway, it never disappeared off the phone, so I chalked it up to no, must not be. However, after seeing that post just now, I said why not, reached over and pulled the plug on the extender, and sure enough, icon gone. Granted, now it's being a snot about syncing back up due to some nasty weather lol. But it appears that was it. I'll know for sure once it lights up again with service, but yeah. I guess the G2 just holds that Network Extender signal a LOT farther than my GNex ever did. I mean, I was a good 75' away, easy, outside the house. And still saw it. At least now I know something wasn't secretly uploading any dirty secrets or anything!
