Stealth Lite Trio Battery

Got 2 of these for the kids. One started charging, screen working, as soon as we plugged into USB port, the other one didn't do anything. No charging, no screen, no power. Is there a way to remove the back and replace the battery or is there some other problem?

It's brand new - bring it back and get it replaced. (The company will probably throw it out. It costs more to open it and find the problem than they make from selling it.)
