Sten

I saw it more as a story about how an ignored underclass could rise up and change the paradigm. That's just me though.

It's a constant theme in Sci-Fi. Like the "Seccies" on Mesa in the Honor Harrington universe.
 
I'm looking for a free download for "Sten". I first read the series on paper, then a Microsoft version. It's hard for me to believe this exciting series of books aren't available for Android.

This might take awhile...
