Sticking with MyTouch 3g

Well, I tried out a new MyTouch 4g & decided to stick with my trusty MyTouch 3g instead. I just like the feel of it better. The bigger phone was... a bigger phone. Great at times, not so great at other times. Bigger isn't always better ;)

I love the feel of my old phone, as it fits my hand perfectly. Plus I love the non-slick surface (soft-touch) on the old phone's back. The new phone was somewhat awkward plus super slippery. Yes, I know I could put a skin on it, but then it didn't fit in the belt case without pressing against the power button.

Yes the older phone is slower, but not that bad actually if you keep nuking the open apps with a task killer.

So, at least for now, I'm (happily) sticking with my old phone. Besides, tons of new stuff coming out this summer. Maybe I will try something new again then.

What didn't you like about it? if you don't mind me asking.

Bigger isn't always better ;)

Disagreed to the 9th power LOL as I had my HD2 stolen last month and only decent handset I found on GSM was MT4G. Taking out DHD as no 3G TMoUS support and not very big fan of Galaxy S based phones due to Samsung. I had HD2 for over year and this was much needed upgrade but with the biggest cost... screen size which I miss so badly once you get something that big you can't go back.

Ha ha you're delusional. The MT3G isn't even in the same stratosphere with the Mytouch 4G. That is unless you like antiquated junk ... sorry if this sounds brash but it's the truth.

You missed the point shawn. I never said it was in the same league, just meets MY needs better... for now.

Mine has never been all that slow...it has it's moments, but most the time it's good. I also found it does betteer without a task killer. I have never had my mt3g die on me and under the about phone most of the battery is drained by the display
